Our History
RiverTree Church began as a small group meeting together to worship, study God’s Word and create community, Church planters, Steve and Shaye Caperton, moved to the Milford area in the spring of 1996 where they began meeting on Sunday mornings at Live Oaks Vocational School. In a little less than a year, during the winter of 1997, RiverTree grew to over 200 in attendance.
After several years in a small building on state route 28, RiverTree was in desperate need of a larger facility. The church needed a building that could accommodate the vision and growth as well as reduce the number of weekend services. In February of 2004 the new church property was purchased. The new property at 5857 Highview Drive has six acres with a pond, green space, picnic shelter and playground.
